The Airworthiness Department
The Airworthiness department consists of two key positions: Airworthiness Assistant and Airworthiness Manager. The department manages the follow-up and the continuing airworthiness of ASTONJET aircrafts, in relation with the flight operations department, the competent authorities and subcontractors. Its main missions are:
- Monitor aircraft maintenance programs,
- Ensure a technical oversight in order to answer the requests of the crew,
- Ensure the follow-up, planning and recording of aircraft work and monitor the conformity of the actions of maintenance organizations,
- Keep airworthiness directives issued by the manufacturers up to date,
- Meet the requirements of the authorities by airworthiness audits and reviews,
- To interface with owner clients.
PROFILE AND SKILLS
To integrate ASTONJET’s Airworthiness department, it is necessary to meet the regulatory criteria established by the authorities.
Candidates must at least hold a diploma in aeronautics. In addition to a good mastering of technical English and computer tools, it is necessary to demonstrate:
- A good ability to communicate with a variety of contacts (authorities, customers, crew, etc),
- Dynamism, adaptability and flexibility,
- Availability, reactivity and autonomy,
- Rigor and precision.
