The aeronautical mechanic job
The position of aircraft mechanic is part of the ASTONTEC maintenance service, working on a fleet of 30 aircrafts, which is set to expand. The company is PART CAO approved, and a Cessna and Diamond aircraft approved maintenance center. The aeronautical mechanic ensures the daily maintenance of all aircraft before and after the flight and is expected to:
- Carry out scheduled airframe and engine maintenance on aircraft of the following types: C172S, DA42, DA42NG, SR22, etc…
- Provide aircraft technical assistance (troubleshooting) for the entire fleet (equipped with Garmin G1000),
- Ensure safety,
- Ensure the condition and conformity of aircraft parts (mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, equipment, etc.),
- Comply with aeronautical procedures and regulations.
Profile and skills
To apply for the position of aircraft mechanic, it is necessary to hold a certified license. Experience on piston engines and/or experience on Garmin 1000 systems is appreciated. The position requires:
