An exceptional career in aviation

Saïd Hadid started his aviation career very early: he took the controls of an aircraft for the first time at the age of 14. An engineer by training, he developed technical expertise and scientific rigour that he would apply throughout his career in aviation. He then became a professional pilot and instructor in many disciplines.

He also distinguished himself in sport, as a member of the French Advanced aerobatics team, then as Team Manager of that same team from 2019 to 2023. This role gave him solid experience in team management, planning demanding training programmes and supporting performance.

Recognised teaching expertise

Over the years, Saïd Hadid has served as head of flight operations and as a specialist instructor in key areas of advanced training: aerobatics, mountain flying on wheels and glaciers, and above all UPRT (Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training), essential to modern aviation safety.

An ambitious vision for Astonfly

Saïd Hadid joins Astonfly with a clear ambition: to raise further the level of standards, rigour and quality of teaching provided to student pilots. His goal is to make Astonfly a European reference, not only in training volumes but also in performance, selection, safety and supervision.

“Strengthening theoretical fundamentals, fostering excellence in flight, while placing the educational and human support of students at the heart of the project.”

A key step for the school's future

All of Astonfly's teams welcome this appointment, which fully supports the growth and excellence strategy the school has pursued in recent years. With more than 2,000 students trained, an exclusive partnership with Ryanair and state-of-the-art facilities at Toussus-le-Noble, Astonfly intends to pursue its mission: training the best pilots of tomorrow.
